Land Rover Discovery Sport (15 - present)
They claim it's the “World's most versatile compact SUV” and they might just be right. The Discovery Sport or “Disco” Sport has turned this segment on its head with styling remeniscent of the popular Evoque, massive levels of practicality, a high-class interior and go-anywhere driving ability. Its probably the only car in this class that you can genuinely feel comfortable in the knowledge that it can drive in just about any condition. Most people that will buy it won't be using it for extreme off-roading but they still like to know just what it can do. If you live in an area that is prone to flash floods or just love to test its off-road resolve, its handy to know that the Disco Sport has 600 millimetres of wading depth which is just shy of 2 foot, and is 100 millimetres more than the Evoque. The Disco Sport is hugely practical with the seven seats, tons of leg and head room and all of the back seats can fold down to create acres of storage space. It carries the same 2.2 litre diesel engine that is used in the Evoque which delivers 187bhp and a very impressive 420nm of torque, making it a very assured motorway driver.
